Further Information

Directions: Heading North towards Bath from Peasdown St John along the A367, as you near the bottom of the hill you will see a turning on your right for ‘Combe Hay’, your turning is the next turning on the left (opposite the bus stop), down a country lane.
If approaching from Bath/ North, proceed down the A367 towards Peasdown St John. You will enter Dunkerton Village (signposted). Continue for 0.2 miles and then take the first turning on your right.

You’ll see a small red post box and a sign for ‘Bristol Lions Cricket club’.

 

Continue for 0.3 miles and you will see a turning on your left going over a bridge, you are the turning immediately after this on the right, up ‘The Hollow’. Follow the road round (for about 100 odd yards) and you will come to Lavender Cottage on your left.

Parking: Your parking is on the left, which is also signposted ‘The Snug parking’.

Once parked up you will need to proceed up the driveway where you will see your property on the left.

Lockbox: The lockbox is located to the right of the main entrance to your property.

The code will be sent to you separately, the day before your check-in day.

TV: There is a Smart TV with Freeview and streaming services in the living room.
DVD Player: Also provided. You will need to select ‘HDMI 1’ on the TV and then proceed to use the Sony DVD remote.

Rubbish: Please place all rubbish in the bin provided. This will be cleared by housekeeping. Please do not leave any rubbish outside the property as this will attract foxes.

Heating: There is a central heating control panel that can be accessed via the large cupboard in the shower room.

You will need to lift the cover to reveal the panel.

To adjust the heat setting move the switch (10) from RUN to HEATING. The day will appear, usually Monday. Press ‘OK’ (12) to select the chosen day.
Amend the timeframe by pressing the + or – button (13) until you have reached the desired time. Press ‘OK ‘ once happy to set this & move to the next part of the day to alter the time here.
Remember to slide the switch back to ‘RUN’ at the end of any changes.

If the heating is too hot when on, you can turn the radiator switches down or off.

Kitchen: Tea, Coffee (Nespresso), sugar and milk are all provided.
Nespresso machine; Turn on with the top “coffee” button. Then press the access lid button up or down to open and close.

Dishwasher, Washing Machine & Dryer (one machine), Freestanding oven and integrated electric hob, Microwave and Fridge can all be found in the kitchen.

Miscellaneous:
All linen and towels are all provided.
Ironing board + iron can be found in the property.

Please note that there is strictly no smoking in the property. If you do smoke, please use the garden and discard any cigarette butts.

Lastly do not flush wipes down the toilets. Toilet paper only.
