Enjoy heritage Bath to the fullest by staying at the luxurious Kensington Chapel. The apartment is situated in a 18th Century Grade II listed building, built by the architect John Palmer. You will find it furnished to the highest standard, with all the comforts of home – plus a few extras to get you settled. Perfect for a weekend getaway, a catch up with friends, a celebration or as a base for business. Please note the sofa bed is for up 2 kids so we can only have 4 adults in total.
The apartment is on the third floor of the chapel, accessed via lift or stairs. Once inside the apartment, you’ll find a wrap-around, open-plan dining, living, study and kitchen space. The dining and living areas look out onto the roof-top terrace, and the high-ceilinged kitchen features a stunning, modern chandelier. The cosy but functional study space includes some fun lighting features.
The living room features a generously sized smart television and two beautiful sofas, one of which converts to a double bed for use by children only. The bright, warm dining space features a rustic wooden table with leather bucket seats and allows a generous amount of space for 6 diners.
Back along the art-filled entrance hall, you’ll find a separate toilet and airing cupboard before entering the master suite – Lost Eden – with king-sized bed. The en-suite bathroom is beautifully decorated and features a half-circle bath.
At the end of the entrance hallway is Fiesta Grande and Fiesta Pequeno – a suite of two bedrooms (one on mezzanine level) with walk-through dressing room and an en-suite shower room. This suite mixes the vibrance of Mexican and Indian influences, with lots of pops of colour as well as captivating artwork and sculpture. The beds are both king-size, the mezzanine is reached via a semi-spiral staircase and the shower room also features a toilet.
You’ll be within a stone’s throw of a major supermarket and several cafes, pubs and a restaurant.
A 20-minute stroll or 5-minute car journey will get you into the centre of Bath with its shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and the famous Roman Baths, Thermae Spa and Theatre Royal.
